And I would walk 500 miles…
To raise money for Heidi’s operations and ongoing care, 23 Entlebucher Mountain Dogs started walking on 7th October 2017 covering sections of a combined 552 mile walk.
The walk represented the distance from Entlebuch in Switzerland, where the breed originate, to the Swiss Embassy in London where the final leg of the walk finished on 25th October 2017 and where three dogs, Bella, Sybil and Wilma met the Swiss Ambassador. At the time, there were only 92 of the Entlebucher breed in the UK, so raising the total needed was hard work, but the walk raised nearly £2,000 with a quarter of the UK population of Entlebuchers contributing to the 552 miles.
