In memory of Queenie – Queen Viktoria Spod Hradze 4.9.2005 – 14.01.2019 – It is with great sadness that we report the crossing of the Rainbow Bridge by Queenie. Mother of 15 of the UKs dogs and grandmother of 21. Our sincere sympathies to her humans and to her housemate Orson.
Today our breed has reached an amazing milestone. With the arrival of Kylo from the Czech Republic we have 100 Entlebucher Mountain Dogs resident in the UK. From the first one to arrive in 2003, to the tenth in 2008 it has taken us a further ten years to reach a hundred and we are absolutely delighted. Our Club will officially be ten years old next year and it is exciting to be able to celebrate with such a strong base to build from.
Welcome little Kylo, we hope you are your family will be very happy together.
We are delighted to say that Blueberry SwissArt arrived from the Czech Republic yesterday. She is to be known as Cracker. With moves out of the country in the intervening time, she is our 98th dog in the UK.
Just a few photos you might enjoy from our recent Northern Fun Day.
Whilst you may just think we can’t count, since our last update we have found out about two Entlebuchers we did not know had been imported. That means that little Kyra Dreamer vom Goldachtal is our 99th UK Entlebucher. Kyra arrived in the UK last night and is now settling in with her new family.
I am delighted to say that Heidii (from the Kornried E litter) has arrived in the UK and is our 96th dog. Welcome Heidii. We hope you will be a very happy puppy.
We are delighted to have news that there are two more Entlebuchers in the UK than we previously knew about. Bolishes Happy Ranch (Red) and Brown Lenny Happy Ranch came to the UK last autumn. That brings our numbers to 95. Wonderful news and welcome to you both.
We are delighted to announce that Toby arrived from the Czech Republic late last night to live in his new home in Hampshire. He brings our numbers in the UK back up to 93.
